PAYSLIPS FOR CARERS

If you employ a carer to look after you or one of your loved ones, you will need to register for PAYE (Pay as you Earn) and supply your employee(s) with a payslip each time that you pay them.

Carers are sometimes called Personal Assistants - often these are funded through direct payments - personal budgets that you can spend on appropriate care, funded through social services. Or you may be funding the care privately - either way you should still be providing a payslip and auto-enrolling into a pension scheme if applicable.

We do this for a fixed fee - the first payslip is £12 and further employees £9. So if you have two employees the cost would be £21 per pay cycle and if you only had one employee it would be £12. If you have four or more carers we can offer you this for a lower price, so after the first three priced as above you would pay a further £7 per employee per pay run.

This price is based upon you supplying us with all the information a minimum of 24 hours before the pay run is due to take place, and all our fees are subject to VAT. We also run payroll in general, not just for carers.
